How to Make Steamed Glutinous Rice with Honey Dates

Find a deep container and fill the first layer with honey dates.
Spread a layer of soaked glutinous rice evenly over the dates.


Alternate layers of honey dates and glutinous rice until the container is full.


Flatten the surface and add a layer of kidney beans.


Top with another layer of glutinous rice and honey dates, then pour water into the steamer (water level should just cover the rice).


Steam for approximately 4 to 5 hours.


After steaming, mash the top layer of honey dates with a fork.


Scoop out portions as needed, and reheat if cooled.
