Homemade Onion Rings Recipe

Occasionally making snacks at home can add joy to life.


Ingredients:


– 2 onions


– 1 egg


– 1 small bowl of breadcrumbs


– 1 small bowl of starch


– Ketchup for serving



Instructions:


1. Slice onions horizontally into rings and set aside. Discard overly large pieces.


2. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.


3. Prepare wheat starch and breadcrumbs in individual containers.


4. Coat each onion ring with starch, shaking off excess.


5. Dip into the egg mixture, then cover with breadcrumbs.


6. After all rings are coated, heat oil to 60% hotness and reduce to low heat.


7. Fry until golden brown, then plate and garnish appropriately.
