Wonton Wrappers and Fillings Recipe for Tianjin Snacks

Ingredients: 30 wonton wrappers, 200 grams of ground meat, 30 fresh shrimp, half a carrot, 100 grams of king oyster mushrooms, 100 grams of Chinese chives, and appropriate amounts of scallion, cooking oil, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and sesame oil.

12. Take one wonton wrapper, wrap in the filling, then take one phoenix-tail shrimp and wrap it together, sealing the wrapper while leaving the shrimp tail exposed in the center of the shumai.
13. Place the wrapped Phoenix Tail Shaomai blanks on a tray.


14. Lightly grease the bottom of a steamer basket with oil and arrange the shaomai inside.


15. Alternatively, grease corn husks lightly, arrange the shaomai on them, place in a steamer tray, and steam over high heat for 8 minutes.


16. The steamed shaomai will have a fresh and savory taste with an appealing appearance.
